How do I get meeting requests to show up on my outlook calendar without having to open the request?

Running Exchange 2010 and Outlook 2010 and have my calendar sync'd to my iPhone as well.  When I receive meeting requests they don't show up on my Outlook calendar as tentative unless I open the meeting request but will show up on my iPhone calendar.  Why is that?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Can't answer the question specifically. I can say however that there are iPhone mail app is notoriously bad at handling meeting requests. Basically if I see a request on the  iPhone I just take it as A reminder to look at it later on the computer.
