Exchange DAG TTL values ?

I'm running Exchange Server 2013 SP1 on Hyper-V VMs, both are within the same AD Site and Geographical location (same data center, but different hosts).

Here's the warning that I can see from Cluster Validation report:
WHy is tha running DAG across local clusters within the same Subnet/VLAN/AD Site geographical location requires higher threshold value compare to the stretched VLAN or different data center / geographical locations ?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Performance. A longer TTL means the system can used the cached record without waiting for DNS, and that results in faster processing. Which for a local cluster, means a more responsive cluster. That's a good thing.
