missing pdssql.dll crystal reports 8.5 connecting to sql 2005 db

I recently reinstalled crystal reports 8.5, however even when I try to execute a report I get an error "missing pdssql.dll. "
I have installed the client for sql 2005.

Is there anyone who knows how to find this dll or solve this problem?

PDSSQL is the Crystal SQL driver.  WHen you reinstalled CR8.5 did you install the SQL database driver?

You may have to use ODBC to connect to SQL 2005.  CR8.5 needed an upgrade to talk to SQL 2000.

The problem is probably due to ntwdblib.dll (it is required by pdssql.dll).
Locate ntwdblib.dll and copy it to the windows system folder (c:\Windows\System32).
