Unresolved or out-of-date cross references in InDesign CC 2015 document for Mac

When trying to print or create PDF of an InDesign CC 2015 document, I get a Warning box that states "There are unresolved or out-of-date cross-references in the document "xxx". Cancel or OK" I do not have any cross references in my document. If you go to the drop down menu "Type" then to Hyperlinks and Cross-References, the options to update cross references is greyed out. I do have a linked table of contents that is up to date. Adobe forums do not give a way to resolve this.

I'm on a brand new Macbook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015) using MacOS Version 10.10.4 (Yosemite).
Thanks for any help!.

I had been to this forum but never read all the way to the end. That's where the solution was! I thank strung for pointing me back there!
Thank you strung!!! It worked! I needed to go to drop down Window, Type and Tables, Cross References. I was able to find the problems there and delete them. It was copied and pasted text that was the culprit. Thanks again!!
