GPU processing of c++ library

Hi Experts,

Can someone help with compiling a c++ library for GPU?  The library is time-intensive and we're looking to speed it up significantly (it's a SHA256 hash function).  I've never done this before and would be interested in a little direction / caveats / things to know beforehand.  I'm interested to compile this for a windows environment, but I don't think that matters for GPU.  Using VS2008.

Thanks for any help!

Well, what issues are you encountering?

I guess I should just google it.  But I always prefer to get an expert opinion on where to start before I go barking up the wrong alley...  I guess I'm looking for any and all comments about it!
OK, so to start with: which library is that? ;o)
