unable to access Cisco ASA ASDM

I have Cisco ASA 5520,   last 2 days I was able to access the GUI using Cisco ASDM, now when I connect to ASDM 6.1 and when I login its just showing software update completed and that's all, I need help as I need to do some configuration from GUI

Has your IP changed? If you had an asdm access rule which tied in to the old IP, it will stop your access.
If that's not the case, download the asdm software from Cisco and put it on a tftp server, connect to the ASA via console and pull down the software to the ASA, and try again.
Did you try to power cycle ASA?

Here you got manual - Upgrade a Software Image using ASDM or CLI  if your ASA is still stuck after power cycling (you will need to use CLI method):
- you should copy from tftp server new ASDM image to flash
- change the config to point to new ASDM file
- save changes
- reload ASA

One last thing.  You always want to be on the latest version of ASDM.  It is based off of java ;( so quite frequently when java updates, they have to update ASDM to keep up with the changes and every now and then a java change will prevent access to an older version of ASDM.
