SCCM 2012 r2 service accounts

I am In the process of upgrading SCCM 2007 to 2012 R2.

and we are recreating the the service accounts

my question is how many service accounts should I create. we need to following best practice as much as possible.

I have looked at Microsoft TechNet showing all the  accounts, there seems to be a lot.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi

The best practise is to give only access that is required to the required tasks and also not to use a single account for everything.
Some tips are there in the below link

Hi

The number of accounts (min or max) should not be the guide the rule or best practise is with minimum access if something can be done then you should only give only the required access. So your thought process is right.
