How to check if a large website has Google Analytics installed on all the pages?

Hi Experts,

http://www.gachecker.com/ is limited to 10,000 pages only, please suggest a free tool to check if a website with several thousand pages has Google Analytics installed sitewide? I need it for a site which has more than half million pages.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi Wayne,
Thanks. I know about Screaming Frog and this article but this is a paid solution, I'm looking for free tools.

I am not aware of a free tool that will solve your problem (unless you already have GA access to the site). Screaming frog is probably about the cheapest most versatile SEO tool you'll find. Your other option is to build your own scraper - Justin Briggs writes about doing something similar here. You would just extract your UA code instead.

If you have GA access you can go into your referrals report and view all self referrals and look at the pages generating traffic. This won't pick up all URLs w/o GA code, only the ones where someone clicked through to a page that you have GA code installed on.

Good luck.
