ESXi Virtual Storage
We took down our ESXi 5.1 Host for maintenance but now it has lost the Connection to our MSA2040 SAN.
we can see the path and the volumes inside Storage Adapter but when we try to Add the Path to our Storage we are getting errors.
Call "HostDatastoreSystem.Query VmfsDatast oreCreateO ptions" for object "datastoreSystem-9" on vCenter Server "vcenter" failed.
i have uploaded some screen shots to help.

esxcfg-volume -l at the prompt.

So you just upgraded 5.1 to 5.5 ?
Certainly here are my EE Articles, also specific to 5.5 and 6.0.
HOW TO: Add an iSCSI Software Adaptor and Create an iSCSI Multipath Network in VMware vSphere Hypervisor ESXi 5.0
HOW TO: Enable Jumbo Frames on a VMware vSphere Hypervisor (ESXi 5.0) host server using the VMware vSphere Client

Hi Andrew,
Thanks for the links we had them set up since this morning but still wasn't pointing to the SAN had to contact HP support, and we were running an out of date driver in which when we updated to 6 and rolled back to 5.1 the issues started. that the SAN was no longer being picked up.
i have since updated the Drivers which has now picked up the SAN. do you know how i can import all the Vm back into Vcenter from the Storage device
