find a virtual software that will all full use of XenDesktop 7.6

I am stuck at trying to create VM templates, I have tried SCVMM, all post out there say SCVMM will not work secondary to another virtual environment like VirtualBox.  I have tried XenServer 6.2 and XenCenter, I can create the VM but I am unable to start it, I get error: There were no servers available to complete specific operation and   hvm is required for this operation.  I have research and it appears it’s the same issue when trying to run this operation in an environment like VirtualBox.  Brian if this was a physical machine all the Kb’s out there say to enableVirtualization Technology (VT), this is enabled on my PC that the virtual environment is installed on.  I want try VMware ESXi 6 but not sure if I would be wasting my time.  I have learned a lot in the last 7 days but the limited resources is getting the best of me.  Do you have suggestion for getting a working virtual lab setup?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You're talking about nested virtualization. I have been able to make a virtual machine work inside a virtual machine using an Intel processor and Hyper-V inside VMWare Workstation. It's the only combination I've found so far that can do it.

As Russ said, VMware Workstation can do this.

Simply select VMware as the guest (Virtual) machine. I have virtualised Hyper-V, XenServer and VMware vSphere in the past in this way.

(The main reason none of the mainstream / bare metal solutions work is that they abstract the CPU of the physical host. When doing this, they remove the VTx etc components. So no nested virtualisation. Workstation doesn't do this, hence you can have the nesting).
