Tabbed pages and sub form on them do not update to new client in ACCESS 2010

I have inherited a tabbled page form from another developer. It not only contains records from a main  table, but several subforms from differfenctg tabled on other tabbed pages.  However, when I select a new PersonId from the combox box to look at their data, nothing is returned, that is, it does not filter to the selected record.  I normally do not use tabbed pages so is there a secret to getting the tabbed pages to update when selecting a person from a drop-down to look at their record details only?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
