"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

how you want to allow these 2 users "share" their "data"? What's the data format to be captured and shared? pure records, documents, etc?

will you considering to have a web server and a web application, and share data from there, or some kind of cloud computing solutions will meet your requirements?

You could use a service like this:

www.eqldata.com

There's a monthly charge per user, but it's the quickest and easiest way to get your Access db online.

You could also setup an RDS system, which would require an investment of time/money. There would be no monthly fee.

Or you could move to SQL Server, and have the data hosted somewhere. This can be somewhat difficult to do it you're not well versed in the migration to SQL Server, or if you've used techniques that don't translate well to server-based data.

Since you're using Access database and wish to share among the users. I'm thinking a web based solution should meet your requirement.

Web application solution means you need to have minimal programming skills to develop the web front pages, which connecting and saving data into a database. You may also need to host your web application on Internet, if not then within an Intranet.

I'm not too sure the solutions and services provided by www.eqldata.com (as suggested by Scott), but you may also consider those off the shelf applications if you don't wish to develop your own one.
