The Group Policy Client Service failed the logon. Access is Denied

Users have started to get this error on my xenapp 5 farm running 2008 standard.  The Group Policy Client Service failed the logon. Access is Denied. This has happened all of a sudden. Renaming the user profile resolves the issue but it has re-occurred for some users. I've already seen some articles like http://discussions.citrix.com/topic/308628-the-group-policy-client-service-failed-the-logon-access-is-denied/
Has anyone else experienced this issue?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Try to delete the user profiles on citrix server and check.  If you are using profile management then verify on all citrix server that its working as normal and removing the profile while sessions get logoff.

The default user profile that profiles are created from was corrupt on some of the servers. Re-creating it and then renaming everyones profile both on the file server and locally cached profiles did the trick

The solution is removing profile is fixed, same i suggested for user to fix the problem. Not sure why he didn't award the points.

Deleting the user profile on all the servers had no affect. We had to restore the "default profile" that user profiles are built from on two specific servers. We then had to rename all profiles as if the corrupt profile was picked up at any point they continued to have issue.
