Windows 8.1 LOB App

I'm working on a project where the client is asking for the app bundle without being signed.  She is claiming Windows 8.1 Full apps do not require a certificate.

Is this possible?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

if they sideload it via group policy you can use a self signed key but it MUST be signed.  Please read the article about other caveats

Thanks David, that was my take on it too. This is a difficult client that insisted this was possible. Needed verification before I replied to her.

It will be side loaded or pushed via Intune.
