Exchange 2013 DAG EDB in DirtyShutdown

We are running an ready to go live Exchange 2013 environment, while troubleshooting problems with Dell caused by AppAssure I discovered the following situation. We run a DAG with 2 server and 4 EDBs (2 active and 2 passive on each server). When we shut down the Exchange Information Store service on server 1 and cause the two active EDBs to fail over to server 2, it works just fine. Running the command "eseutil /mh <EDB-PATH>" now shows a clean shutdown state on the previously active EDBs on server 1 and a dirty shutdown state on the passive EDBs. After starting the Exchange Information Store service you can manually failover every EDB to server 1 without an issue...

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
