Creating a self signed cert with IIS 8

Hi all,

I want to create a certificate for my NLS server for direct access. My understanding is that I can create my own cert for this server as it only has to be visible on my internal network. Does anyone have a guide on how to create a self signed cert on IIS 8?

Thanks

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Go to IIS, select your server, in the middle pane select Server Certificates and you will see an action Create Self-Signed Certificate on your right.
