windows 10 enterprise

I am test driving windows 10 enterprise at work, and noticed on my "C" drive that there are a bunch of folders with random names like
and in these folders are a folder called "sandbox". For the sandbox folder, ever with my admin credentials, I can't open the folder.
I googled this and saw something about if there is a recovery partition, you shouldn't remove the directories.
I do have this recovery partition, so I guess I won't get rid of these partitions, but I haven't seen a good explanation of this sandbox thing. Does anybody about this phenomenon?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Here's a link to explain a little about it.
Windows 10 apparently uses this a lot.
