Denial of Service Attack
Is there a way to confirm that an IP or a particular name server might be getting involved in a DOS attack?
query is ambiguous.
If you are being attacked and wanting to identify what is attacking your server?

I believe the name servers we were using (Godaddy, Lunarpages) might have been getting attacked, but I have no way to prove or otherwise understand if they were (unless above vendors will tell me and so far the answer is we have no problems here)
Out sites went dark for about 72 hours for no apparent reason.
So my question is, should this happen again, is there a way to "see" a DOS attack on a particular IP or Name Server.
