Visual Studio 2013

I use VS2012 and have a webforms website project. (not webapp)

Can I automatically load my existing VS2012 website and have it imported nicely or will there be a lot of problems.

Please answer only if you use the product and have this experience. (getting tired of point gatherers with no useful comments.)

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

There really should not be any problems as both VS2012 and VS2013 use .NET 4 (with VS2013 preferring .NET 4.5).

One thing thing, however, VS2013 excels at is the ability to open VS2012 and VS2010 projects/solutions without requiring an import.

Not sure what you are saying. I don't use Cassini, dont' know what it is. And I don't use iis express.

What is it and why would I need it?

David Johnson, CD, MVPOwnerCommented:
Cassini is the Development Server for Web Projects prior to Visual Studio 2013
