how can I make Quickbooks 2011 compatible with Windows 10?

Hello and Good Evening Everyone

I wish to help a friend to make QuickBooks 2011 compatible with Windows 10.  Can this be done or will she have to purchase Quickbooks 2015?

Any suggestions or guidance given in reply to this interest will be greatly appreciated.

          Thank you

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I would say almost no chance. I am in another thread where the asker is trying to use QB V2012 on Windows 10 and it is not working.

I have QuickBooks V2015 on my Windows 10 box and it works fine. There a couple of windowing glitches which will get fixed either with an update or with QB V2016 out in a month or two.

Hello and Good Morning John

Thank you for your feedback given in response to my question.  It was not quite what I had hoped for, but, at least I know where we stand.  With respect to your suggested solution, we went ahead and got QuickBooks V2015 in order to keep everything compatible and fully working with Windows 10 for my friend's desktop.

Have a good day and thanks again for your followup : - )

Thank you George. I am building a ledger for a client at the moment in QB V2015 on my Windows 10 machine and it is working very well. Cheers.
