Gropup policy

Dear Experts,

In my organisation Windows Server 2012 is installed & domain is also configured. Even the group policy is also applied. there is gp for block usb also. Two days back I had removed an OU from the block usb policy. But till now the users in that OU can't access usb flash drives , cd & dvd drives. whenever they try to open it it shows access denied. Its more than 48 hours since i removed that particular OU from Block usb policy.  If I do RSOP.msc it doesn't show block usb policy.

Please help me why it is not getting applied.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Can you tell us how the policy is written? To whom it is applicable for example.

Second, what if you apply "gpupdate /force" from the command line on one off the computers you want to grant USB option?
Benjamin VoglarIT ProCommented:

You have  to create new GP where you enable USB ports. Then link GP on the OU where your computer now is.
