cannot find a record in the table 'x' with key matching field(s) 'xx'

I have an access form and when i populate the details and change the tab i get the error 'cannot find a record in the table 'x' with key matching field(s) 'xx' (where x / xx are table / field names)

However i'm sure i deleted the link before but i can't find where the reference would be calling?

Any advice?

Cheers

Are there subforms on the tabs of the main form?  Please post a screen shot of the error message you are receiving.

Hi Omgang,

It seemed to be on the form recordsort property, after removing it all is well.

Resolution was found that the recordquery property held the reference to the no longer relevant fields and tables causing the error code.
