Data Encription in Excel and 3rd Party Software

EE Pros,

Need some advice.  I have my general passwords in a Excel spreadsheet.  I'm interested in a more secure approach either by encrypting with heavy encryption Excel or a 3rd Party Package like Keeper or something that is very good.  Not interested in a Cloud Offering but want to keep the file on prem.

Any advise would be very helpful.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Thanks Roy.  I'm going with a commercially available option.
