DNS Cache and Redirects not clearing on Chrome

I created a CNAME record on my blog:

blog.coachjoemckamey.com and pointed it to the place where my blog is hosted --- just for testing.

I removed that CNAME record because I wasn't fully ready to forward it yet.  HOWEVER, when I go to blog.coachjoemckamey.com it still redirects over to the other site and I don't want this to happen.

I went in and created a new CNAME record but that didn't help.

I have cleared my cookies and cache.

I also opened developer tools in chrome and clicked Ignore Redirects While Developer tools open (not exact wording).  Didn't work.

I also went to chrome://net-internals/#dns and hit clear DNS cache and that didn't work.

Any ideas?

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

For yosemite, Open terminal and try this:

dscacheutil -flushcache; sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder

DNS Cache flushing Methods on other versions.
