How to login to o365 websession as private

I have a user that hen he logs into our o365 web based outlook, he gets logged out after 15mins of idle time. So I'm thinking his session is set for public and not private.

How can I get him logged in as private? Right now he is being automatically logged in.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I did, still didn't work. I see no choice anywhere to chose private or public login.

That selection is no longer possible in the interface (for EO at least), instead AD FS claims determine whether the access is public or private. So do you have AD FS in place and have you configured this option?

If no, I guess there's some other issue in play here. Or maybe a faulty configuration on MS side (as the default logout period is controlled on the server level, not per user).

On the Outlook app side.. goto send and receive groups... change the scheduled send and receive. It's probably going off line.
