"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

VLAN tagging comes and goes with firmware patched in enclosure management module(s)
They are better connected to untagged port.

I want to know the procedure to do Vlan tagging on an untagged port.
Upgrade to firmware to at least v2.60 and the option in web GUI available since v2.01 will magically start to work.

I already have all required optiob on virtual center and onboard administrator as i am handling c7000 hardware for very first .i would appreciate if you click by click or command by command intruction to setup with blades and required networking capabilities and vlan tagging of nics.
Did you upgrade firmware to v2.60 ? That is required to tag VLAN (there is no point in tagging them since port will be on single VLAN only)

Do you have one or two onboard administrator modules (web ui layout differs)?

Anyway while you are connected to the network you can mash up AD connection in authentication/directory. You need a user in AD that can query it, and enable AD options to your liking. Make sure to keep local admin user or two just in case cables are cut and you need to power on a server 1000km away.
You need to refer to users and AD objects using LDAP cn=, while last tickmark will convert them for login UI into DOMAIN\user

Yes .I do have the firmware at required ,since I am a newbie to the world of c7000 ,I would appreciate if I could get some very simple doc (without technical jargons) which could help to set it up..
Go to the c7000 and check is you have one or 2 OA modules. The web config layout is different.

1st steps to get it administered - use front display to set IP and gateway, then you can access the configuration web interface with web browser as long as port is untagged.

Maybe you get it  right clicking around. Master reset is in green menus.
You need to enable vlan ID in web menu, then on the switch.
