Is there an industry standard for image backups

I have been out of the loop for a while. I want to image backup Windows Servers. Is Acronis still number one or have they finally screwed themselves?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

There are still heaps of choices and I wouldn't put Acronis at the top of the list.

Shadow Protect seems very popular and I've had good success with it in the past.

Mostly comes down to your preference of product but I'd definitely check that out

For VM's I'd say Veeam is the top, but shadowprotect is close. For hardware I'd say it's the other way around.
