Exchange DAC mode benefits

Hi folks, i'm doing a bit of testing in a lab with DAC and it behaviour.

My question is, could something tell me the benefits of have 2 DAG members in each of  two  datacenters, instead of having 1 DAG member in each datacenter...besides high availability of course.
Is the DAC process better or different, having 4 members across two sites instead of 2 members across two sites?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

There will be a small delay in case you have only single sever on each site.
There will not be a delay if you have 2 servers in each sites. database will switch over to next datacenter only when both the servers fails in the site.
