Considerations for ADFS 2012r2 and Office 365 - Multiple Tenancy

Hi,

Taking into account the usual design considerations for ADFS (I.e. 2 adfs + 2 adfs proxy) servers, we have multiple companies on one domain (in separate OUs)

With AADirSync, we have a separate AADirSync server per company (i.e. contoso.com) syncing the users of that company up to their Office 365 main account. Can I federate my single ADFS deployment with multiple Office 365 tenants as the provider so they can take advantage of single sign on?

If I understand correctly, your configuration is single on-prem AD forest, syncing to multiple separate O365 tenants, right? You will still need to have separate installations of dirsync/aadsync/aadconnect per O365 tenant, but yes, the AD FS farm can be single instance that serves all tenants. You will need to use different UPN suffixes and make sure each object is synced only once. Some guidance can be found here:
