Recommendations for Remote Access/Control of a Windows Computer

I am frequently called on by friends and family to help troubleshoot problems on their computers. More often than not they are miles away and it is not possible for me to respond to the site. I was just wondering whether anyone could recommend an application that would provide the functionality I seek. The solution must be one that requires the least from the end user. I'm familiar with products like pcAnywhere, but my recollection is that it costs more than I'm looking to spend.

We have tried nearly all of them and have settled on Screenconnect.  You can pay a monthly service fee and have it hosted or you can purchase a license and host it yourself.  It is licensed by the number of concurrent sessions you want to have and is about the best remote control solution we have come across.

I think it is around $325.00 for the self-hosted version which then gives you unlimited nodes.  Outside of that Logmein or GotoAssistExpress would be my next suggestions.

Once I had a chance to look at  TeamViewer, I remembered that it is a product I had used in the past. It is free for non--commercial use, quite versatile and more than adequate for my purposes.
Fore home users or client computers you can use Teamviewer , for Servers use VPN and remote it will more secured,
