Windows 8.1 command prompt utility to find file in subfolders

Hi,

The FIND command from the command prompt searches only your current directory.

Is there a better version of it so I can search textfiles in my current folder, and all subfolders, for a particular string in a bunch of text files?

I know that JPSoft's 4NT has such a command...

... but I don't have 4NT installed. So, is there an equivalent in Windows 8.1?
Thanks,
Steve
