Hyperlink ID on subform datasheet view to form open

Hi,

I'm trying to enable the ID field within a subform in datasheet view to be a hyperlink where if the user clicks the hyperlink it opens the details page for that record.

I've set Macro up for the field and done an 'on click' event and it works in form view but in datasheet view the field remains as text.

Is it possible from datasheet view to do this?

Many thanks

Brendan

Why not use continuous forms and make it like datasheet...it will give you extra functionality and with a bit of work it would be more eye catching

It turned out to be some wayword issue with displaying the current ID column, i deleted the column from the form view, readded the ID column and then added the Macro to the newly added column and it worked!

I found the resolution myself, it seemed to be an issue with the field within the column, for whatever reason i couldnt add it to the datasheet view (using add existing column) and it wasn't locked. The easiest way to do it was to delete the field off the design view of the subform and readd the ID field in again and recreate the macro against it.
