Video Surveillance -- bigger DVR ?

What bigger DVR do you recommend since
 1. our current 16 composite cameras that work fine
 2. we do NOT want to replace the cameras, we just want to replace the DVR
 3. we are OK with 30 pictures per minute (do NOT need anything better)
 4. we have NO Internet / IP viewing needed

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

How many days/weeks of storage do you need? What's your current DVR and how many days/weeks are you storing atm?
finance_teacherAuthor Commented:
Would like 60 days if possible, which would maybe be about 8TB of storage for the 960H resolution, 320 x 240, 7.5 frames per second settings ?

Anybody ?

I've used an online cctv hard drive space calculator to calculate the space needed. What I don't know is the compression your DVR is using, MJPEG or H.264? If it's MJPEG, I get an estimated storage of 22.6TB, if it's H.264 it's only 1.6TB.

Btw 960H is not the same as 320x240, 960H is 960x480.
