syncing Windows 8.16.3 to Server 2008 R2
I have a new Client with 2008 Server all patches applied Setup on a Domain
All of Their PC's do not have the Ability to Attach to the Domain due to their Version
Hence Since they cannot login to the Domain and utilize Redirected Folders.
What would be the Best Course of Action to sync user profiles to Server:
1) when they login to the computer and 2) sync changes when they log off
I would appreciate Full Details of Action including Steps

How I did it !!!!
Removed complexity from Server down to 4 Chars pass to never expire
forced update
Matched the Logins on computers to that in AD
--tested .....works
Created a Home Directory on the Server Data Volume
Created Hidden directories for all 15 users and assigned proper rights
Created Desktop, Documents and Picture folders in all home folders
Did following actions on all Three Folders:
:::
Right click on "Documents" and selected Target Tab....Changed path to:
\\Servername\Hiddenfolder$ \documents
Clicked Apply and it moved all contents to server
:::
NOTE: I did have to recreate the documents folder in local profile and move the "Outlook Files"
folder back there so outlook would work.
and there you have it......
Redirected Folders to a 2008 Domain Using win8 home and works like a Champ.

Wow, that's a total hack job. If I was the next MSP I would be cursing your name. :( I mean, if they were a business and had to pay $200 per Windows license..but it's $15.

Cool it Kevin,
Everything is Documented ( Now that I am there) no documentation before
When the Non-Profit has NO money and I am NOT getting paid
Ya gotta do what you have to to make things work.
