Issues with OAB Exchange Outlook 2010

Hi everyone,

I was having issues with OAB after I upgraded to Exchange 2010 SP3. I then created a new OAB and it is working fine but the problem is that Outlook picks the new OAB up only after I recreate the Outlook profile. This is not possible for the 1000+ users we have. So is there anything or any setting in Outlook which will make it receive updates from the new OAB ?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

First, check if your outlook is pointing to correct OAB URL. Goto system tray, click ctrl button and right click on outlook icon. Click on test-email auto configuration. Now give username and password and check where it is pointing for OAB.

After creating the new OAB ? No

I restarted the CAS servers only when we were moving from SP1 to SP3. The OAB issue came on the same day when we upgraded to SP3.
