ipad very slow to charging

hi experts
my ipad 3 64GB take up to 12 h to fully charging
i trying via original adaptor and via high speed usb charge in my laptop, change adaptor, change cable etc all the same
any idea

iPad will not charge plugged into a USB port on laptop or pc

Only will charge connected to wall outlet

As suggested power off iPad then back on

Plug apple adapter into wall outlet then into iPad

Will start charging

thanks all acutely i don't know the difference between iPhone charger and ipad
i have more than 5 charger all 5V

If you put the device in airplane mode, I've noticed it charges faster too.

the problem was in the charger i found that i am using iphone charger 5v/1amp while ipad charger 5v/2.1amp
