Microsoft Office 2010 won;t install after updates

Has anyone seen this error before. See attached error screenshot. It occurred after installing windows updates and I can't reinstall.

What service pack level are you at?

Issue installing Office 2010 on XP Pro SP2

Just download the latest Service pack and you should be able to install, also look at the comments for links to XP 64bit Office 2010 installations..

I found the solution in case anyone else has suffered this problem. When installing MS Ofice 2010 you have to right click the installation file and deselect compatibility mode. On the installation file I was using in this particular instance, compatibility mode was selected for Windows Vista. I deselected it and the installation went ahead.
