Dual monitor - Second monitor does not recognize input when waking up from sleep

I have two monitors, one VGA (main) and the other DVI on a docking station. When my computer goes to sleep and it comes back on, the second monitor doesnt automatically come up. I have to turn off and back on for it to recognize it again. Any solution? Thanks.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

See if there is any power settings on the monitor.  I have a similar setup and both of my monitors always come back when I move the mouse.

You might also try a different monitor to see if it is specific to that make/model.

Also make sure your video drivers are up to date.
