We had Windows 2008 Domain controllers and 250
Windows XP PC and now we have migrated to Windows 2012 domain controller and Windows 7 and few windows 8 tablets.
After we migrated to Windows 7, when users login to Win7 PCs, they can see the RDP and command prompt under Windows7 accessories.
I have few windows XP PCs in the network still and if the same users login these XP PCs, they cannot see Remote desktop and the Command prompt in accessories.
When I asked my predecessors, they said the GPO was configured for XP and because the GPO was configured for XP, and this GPO will not get applied properly to windows 7 PC.
Is there a way to disable this from the GPO on our domain controllers, so that when students and staff login, the Remote desktop and the Command prompt are no more listed in the accessories.
