web site will be constantly available.

Hello everyone,

I would like  to create a situation that our website always online also if hosting servers falls,
our goal is that our web site will be constantly available.

Also I would like to be notified if there is a failure in one way or another.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

where is your website hosted, internally or externally ?

Maybe you could use FREE Content Delivery Network (CDN) like Incapsula or CloudFlare. CloudFlare offers you, beside Caching, optimization and protection, also FREE option Always Online.
But be aware, that ANY cache and solution like this via CDN, will in case of main server failure serve only STATIC and already GENERATED content. The dynamic, on-the-fly generated content cannot be displayed, if it has caching disabled programatically inside HTML/PHP/Generic code.

The other option is to use some High-Availability setup with two servers, two locations etc, but all those costs a lot.

You will need:

Multiple hosting sites.  Placing webservers in multiple AWS zones, for example.

A global traffic manager to direct traffic to the hosts, monitor the hosts for availability, etc.  It should be able to alert you if a host or site goes offline.

GTM is not a trivial configuration, so I recommend using a service that already has the infrastructure and processes in place to support it.
