VB.Net - Iterating Through Excel.xlsx

Good Day Experts!

I have what seemed to be an achievable little project here today.  However, I cannot seem to get started even after searching the net for assistance.

I have a VB.Net windows app with a combobox of Excel.xlsx spreadhseets. The User selects one then I have to loop through all the lines and perform some processing.

What is the best way to iterate through the Excel.xlsx file? Do you have any good reference articles to get me started?

Thansk,

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi jimbo99999;

If you need to just query the Excel spreadsheets without modifying and saving the Excel spreadsheets you can have a look at a library called Linq to Excel which will allow you to query the spreadsheet and get the data you need from it. The library can be loaded into your project through NuGet within Visual Studio. If you go to this link, Linq to Excel, you can see a short video.
