DHCP Notification

I am running server 2008 standard not R2. How do I go about configuring a notification that emails me a notification when a device gets an address? I am not seeing a system event that I can tie a task to.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I have previously reviewed the information. How do I go about getting my system to send an email notification when a new DHCP is assigned? There are no references of a new lease in the default event logs.

Probably 2008 pre-R2 does not create those eventlog entries, so I don't see how you should be able to create an action on lease change, unless monitored "manually" with a script (before and after values, periodically). Sounds cumbersome.
