Hi, i have set up a small registration website for an event, using a lot of HTML5.<br />
<br />
I've just found out that 90% of the users who will be registering are using IE8.<br />
<br />
I understand that HTML5 does not work with IE8.<br />
<br />
I was thinking of querying the browser in IE8 and executing a different version of code on the home page. Has anyone got any other suggestions or alternatives... baring in mind that the company that is using the site cannot upgrade their browsers.<br />

HTML (HyperText Markup Language) is the main markup language for creating web pages and other information to be displayed in a web browser, providing both the structure and content for what is sent from a web server through the use of tags. The current implementation of the HTML specification is HTML5.
