Hi Experts,

I have Exchange 2010, running on Win Server 2008 R2. - Do you know where I can find the port configured for SMTP?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You do mean for internal relay? Port 25 is used by default
StuartTechnical Architect - CloudCommented:
If you want to use the exchange server so your internal application servers can relay mail you will have to create a receive connector and enable anonymous access. You can also lock this down to specific source addresses

for external relay, is there somewhere I can see this?
StuartTechnical Architect - CloudCommented:
Have a look at your send connector

get-sendconnector <name of connector> | fl

By default it will be 25

If you want to change this (eg port 587)

Set-sendconnector <name of connector> -Port 587

What do you mean by "External Relay"? You want users on the Internet to be able to relay may through your Exchange server? Not a good idea at all.
