Programing a comment post and view page on a website using Visual Studio 2012 & SQL Server 2012

I need a suggestion for a VB.net control/controls that will help facilitate the creation of a web page for people to post advertisements. Does it look like I can accomplish this with Visual Studio 2012, SQL Server 2012? Does this require other software?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Yes Visual Studio and Sql Server will allow this, you will also need to host this site somewhere.  Perhaps you can be a little more specific on what you need.

The site will be hosted by "Verio" which is part of NTT communications. The site will be selling screen printed T-shirts as well as advertising the service of Cutting, Sewing, & screen printing. I also want to have a "help wanted" page for musicians who need band members. This help wanted page is what I need help with (Pardon the pun).
I was hoping there might be a control or some way of using SQL server. I have written data base programs with VB & SQL. I know they work together well. I'm just not sure how with ASP.net & VB.net on the web. Thank you for any help.  --  Joe

I am going to try this from a different perspective. I am not sure of the terminology for the programming that I need to do.  People type comments (or ads) on my website (I assume in a VB text box) and save it (Possibly as rich text format) --  I review it and then decide to post it for everyone to view, or not. It somehow does not sound like a job for SQL Server; or am I wrong?
Am I looking for this help in an ASP.net book or something a lot more specific?
