Replace Dell T110 250GB drives with S100 RAID

I have a new customer that has run out of disk space on a Dell PE T110 Server running Winserver 2008 essentials. The Server came with 250GB SATA drives with built in PERC s100 RAID in RAID 1. I need to upgrade them to at least 1TB SATA hard drives & still maintain RAID 1.

If I remove all drives, use a disk duplicator to duplicate just drive 0, then install it in the server along with a bare drive 1, the controller should see a failed drive 1 & rebuild the RAID.  Am I missing something?
Comments?

Thanks

The simple approach. Backup, remove the old disks, insert the new ones, create the new array, restore the backup. Depending on the backup software it will be able to resize the partitions to your new size, otherwise you can do that later from within Windows diskmanagement.
You arw selecting the most complicated way. I would also suggest you doing backup - rebuild RAID with new drives and restore from backup.
Or you can exchange one drive per time let it sync and then exchange the second drive. After that using Windows Disk Management resize the partitions to get the whole space.
Depending on RAID controller the new space will be available or not.

Noxcho,
Which is faster?
Duplidisk then rebuild RAID or replace, rebuild, replace, rebuild?
