How does easy transfer work with Domain users?

I am upgrading 7 PC's on a Win2003 network from XP to Win 7. I'd like to use easy transfer as data seems to be local and server based. MY DOCS is redirected. What steps do I need to take?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi. I loved the EZ Transfer. At first, hesitant losing files and stuff. I did 250 computers AND THANK GOD I DID ONCE!!! So I used extra HDD. Rotated about 10 drives..
1 Log on as admin
2 Run EZ and select users you want to back up
3 Rename comp to Name.OLD, shutdown
3 Swap out drives and install win7.
4 Join domain
5 logon as domain admin
6 Run EZ and transfer profiles. Usually unchecked (local) admin and others not needed
7 Install all you updates and programs (Adobe, Office) before any users log on

I have found it copies almost all settings to a T. Having the old drive... priceless.
