error lunching Web application from server

Hi experts
i have worked on Web application in my local host and it worked perfectly, when i copy the application folder to the Test server with IIS 8 it worked the first time but every time i modified a page in my local and move it to server i can not see the changes,
when i created Web site i dont face any issue with that, can you please provide with the correct way of copy web application to another server?

i am getting code error, which was solved in my local machine, i copied the page to the server but its not refreshed in the server,

After uploading the code do a IIS reset to take the changes

Server Error in '/' Application.

Runtime Error
so i enabled the custom error
then i got another error

Does your web app runs correctly from your visual studio (locally)?

There might be couple of reasons like
1. There might be some missing things (like end tag etc.) in web.config!
2. Your web application might configured with incorrect ASP.NET versions!
3. Application Pool settings might not correct!

---Correct Way---
If you are manually copy paste your web application, then you need to make sure only changing content should paste and not the whole things again and again! (like if you change content of one aspx file(not cobehind), then you copy paste only aspx; if you change codebehind, then copy respected DLL as well)
