Local Printer keeping disconnecting from local machines
Hi,
We have a network which we connect to a Citrix Server and everything is setup on the Server. We have a couples printers as well and sometimes it gets disconnected from the Server and i have to reconnect it again.
The worse part is that i have connected all the machines (laptops) to the printers and they need my authentication to be connected and sometimes as a local machines it gets disconnect from the printers that i have added as local printers over our local network which is not established. Printer get connect though a automatic sharing which i don't know how it connects. How can i make sure those machines doesn't get disconnected locally from the local printers. There is a way to make sure they keep connected?
Printers Canon and HP
Laptops all HP

Is is a local printer setup over tcp\ip.
When the printer disconnects from the laptops i don`t need to reinstall. i just connect to our Citrix server and from there i right click on the printer and choose "Connect" and type my password. This is all in the local laptop. The printer driver i download when i connect to our Citrix Server.
Yes, is an AD Server
I hope this help.
