Good afternoon all,<br />

I upgraded my work laptop over this weekend from Win 7 to Win 10. When I came into work this morning I found that I can not access the management VLAN. <br />
<br />
My Intel i127-LM has no VLAN tab. I looked this up and sure enough I need to upgrade the driver. No problem, logged on to intels site, downloaded the Win 10 driver and ran it.<br />
<br />
The install continual freezes at 3/4% complete. Have downloaded the install three different time, ran it from different location as administrator with no luck.<br />
<br />
Does anyone have any ideas on how I fix this? I can not do my job until I can access the management VLAN from this laptop.<br />

Networking Protocols

A switch is a device that filters and forwards packets of data between LAN segments. Switches operate at the data link layer or the network layer of the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) Reference Model and therefore support any packet protocol. LANs that use switches to join segments are called switched LANs or, in the case of Ethernet networks, switched Ethernet LANs. A hub is a connection point for devices in a network. Hubs are commonly used to connect segments of a LAN. A hub contains multiple ports; when a packet arrives at one port, it is copied to the other ports so that all segments of the LAN can see all packets.
